We are proud to announce that our barista from Archway Bistro has won the Championship Trophy in Coffee Mixology at the Professional Coffee Athletics – Coffee Mania Festival Myanmar 2026, held from February 6–8 at The Secretariat, Yangon.
The Coffee Mixology category challenges competitors to create two original coffee-based cocktails — one hot and one cold — showcasing technical skill, creativity, balance, and storytelling through flavor.This year’s judging panel included leading Myanmar coffee professionals alongside Taiwanese Mixology Champion Min Jing, bringing both local expertise and international perspective to the competition.
Our championship entry centered on an innovative interpretation of Myanmar heritage flavors:
- Kaung Nyin Baung (Cold Cocktail) – A creative reimagination of the beloved local snack, translated into a refined coffee cocktail expression.
- Laphet Yay (Hot Cocktail) – A structured and modern take on Myanmar’s iconic tea culture, integrating coffee to bridge tradition and contemporary mixology.
Both creations were designed to honor Myanmar’s culinary identity while elevating it into the language of cocktail craftsmanship.
We are deeply honored to have represented Myanmar flavors on this platform — and even more grateful that our vision was recognized as a winning creation.
